This beautiful (proven) blue water cruising vessel was built for the first owner (now with second owner) to William Garden's original design. The added staysail (making her a cutter ketch) was done with Mr. Gardens direct recommendation. She sails like a true W.Garden. With a little TLC she can take you safely anywhere in comfort.
The Sitka Spruce spars (Booms are in the process of being refinished) and are in great shape.
As soon as you step aboard you'll see and feel how special this vessel is. Maneuvering about the deck is easy because of the wide decks, many hand holds and real bulwarks.
Stepping down the companion way, you'll find to
Port, a well thought out spacious galley with ample light and good visibility across the water. Throughout the interior, there is plenty of cabin height for taller sailors. The large hatches (one is reversible), butterfly skylight and many opening port lights allow for plenty of ventilation.
Ample drawers, cabinets and hanging lockers make her very livable
Master has a Pullman berth. Expansive quarter berth comfortably sleeps two. Marble counter top in the head. Raised toilet.
Separate tiled shower (doubles as a wet hanging locker for foul weather gear).
The oversized ground tackle includes a 60 lb. CQR, Danforth, fortress and fisherman. All with appropriate anchor Rhodes.
